A short time ago, I watched this very funny video about Instagram husbands and wanted to share my thoughts on it. For your information, Instagram husbands are quite often the photographic talent behind many of the beautiful snapshots that women post daily to this social media platform. Good job guys!
What is funny is that the video personally hit home with my experience as Rachel’s shutterbug. She constantly uses this computer application to showcase her LuLaRoe fashion and experiences. I take the photos. This humorous piece unquestionably showed the “behind the scenes” part of Instagram and what husbands go through when assisting their significant others. I will admit that shooting photographs with Rachel is usually pretty easy, but sometimes trying to get a great shot requires patience and more patience. The video did a wonderful job of relaying this state of affairs
It also made me realize how easy it is to get pulled into something… while not knowing you are even being pulled. When I first started shooting photos for Rachel, it was a simple push of a button. Then it went to multiple shots; then to different angles; then to multiple shots at different angles in different locations. You get the picture. At times, I wonder how I even ended up there. Ultimately, these thoughts led me to the final thought about bathroom space and Rachel (yes, my thought process is frequently demented).
A bathroom that was shared by three guys with room to spare was, in a matter of a few short months, commandeered by my lovely wife forcing me into our second bathroom (the guys had moved out). It happened so swiftly and subtly that I simply awoke one morning and realized that I had been relegated to bathroom “B;” no fighting, no discussion, no agreement. I was just moved!
Nevertheless, being married to my enchanting companion for over twenty years, I categorically realize that there is not much I can do about this situation with Instagram (or the bathroom). So I have decided that I will simply go with the flow and continue to shoot her photographs.
So… there are my thoughts.
Thanks and have a great day!
